Texas-based musician Nicholas Das is a band of one, building sonic landscapes from found sounds, plucks of guitar, the human voice, and a Yamaha keyboard. The guy writes and records his own records under the name Half Breed, and collaborates with his dear friends, foes, and curious folks in the worlds of pop-music and film. Nick's stuff flirts with the philosophies of zen and the warmth of summer, jokes, and love. Das has penned a song that somehow made its way onto the Billboard Adult Alternative chart, just finished up a US tour drumming in the noise rock band Kraus, and is at work writing a new HB record and – ideally – more hits.
