Marisa is completing her MFA in painting at Rhode Island School of Design. She was chosen to participate in the Yale University Summer School of Music and Art Fellowship Program in Norfolk, CT, and participated in Columbia University’s Summer advanced painting intensive program. She has been a resident at Brooklyn Art Space, in Brooklyn, NY and at the Vermont Studio Center. She received the Hazel H. Huntsinger Memorial Prize in Painting, at the Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She will be a resident at the Wassaic Project in Wassaic, NY in the summer of 2018. She has exhibited work at diverse locations, and will be performing in March of 2018 at {Re} Happening at the Black Mountain College of Art in Asheville NC.
