Nature Shankar (b. 1996, Singapore) is a Singapore-based visual artist whose practice mainly revolves around textiles and the method of hand embroidery. Her installations and embroidery works are created using a mixed media approach. Her works have been exhibited at Singapore's ArtScience Museum (2015), The Ngee Ann Kongsi Galleries 1 & 2 (2017) as well as The Hive Gallery & Studios in Los Angeles (2018). She has also been the recipient of the Woon Tai Jee Art Prize (1st Prize) in 2016. Nature was also recently invited to train with The Textile Arts Center in New York City
